Solar Power Video: National Geographic - Global Warming 101
This 3 minute video by National Geographic shows that the Earth’s climate is fluctuating unusually fast. In fact it has warmed between 1.2-1.4 degrees in just this last century. A large majority of Scientists believe this is from humans consuming energy and fossil fuel which creates extra gases that are released into the atmosphere. In fact, 1998 was the warmest year in history and 2005 the 2nd warmest. Researchers predict gases in our atmosphere will increase 2-10 degrees Fahrenheit by the end of this century. Such an increase will raise sea levels world wide with dire consequences. As a result, saving energy and creating pollution free energy such as wind and solar power is important to avoid this disastrous scenario for mankind.
